* Early education was in Rajkot class 10 in the year 1887.

* The first non cooperation movement was launched  September 1920 by Indian National Congress(INS) under the Leadership of Mahatma Gandhi . 

1921 : on September 22, 1921, Gandhi ji took the brave decision to shed his traditional attire and get into a 'loincloth,' which remained with him till death. 

1922 : Gandhiji called off the Non-Cooperation movement in 1922 because of the Chauri-Chaura incident. 

* On 4 February 1922, participants of the Non-cooperation movement clashed with police resulting in the deaths of about 22 policemen and 3 civilians at Chauri Chaura in the Gorakhpur district ( now UP ). 

1924 : Gandhi ji was the president of Indian National Congress Belgaum session

1930 : Dandi March launched by Gandhiji . 

1931 : Gandhi Irwin pact signed 5 March 1931. 

* The second Round Table Conference was held in London from 7 Sep 1931 to 1 Dec 1931 with the participation of Gandhi and INC. 

1932 : On 16th September 1932, Gandhi ji went on a Hunger Strike in his cell at the Yerwada Jail, Pune, protesting against the British government’s decision to separate India’s electoral system by caste. 

1933 : Gandhiji started a weekly newspaper "HARIJAN " in English language. 

1942 : on 8th August 1942 Gandhi ji Launched "Quit India Movement " 

* This movement Gandhiji described by his call to Do Or Die. 

1948 : Nathuram Godse who assassinated Gandhi ji  on 30 January 1948. 

Gandhi's birthday 2 October commemorated in India as "Gandhi jayanti" (National Holiday) and worldwide as "International day of Non-Violence".
