1932 : On 16th September 1932, Gandhi ji went on a Hunger Strike in his cell at the Yerwada Jail, Pune, protesting against the British government’s decision to separate India’s electoral system by caste.
1933 : Gandhiji started a weekly newspaper "HARIJAN " in English language.
1942 : on 8th August 1942 Gandhi ji Launched "Quit India Movement "

1948 : Nathuram Godse who assassinated Gandhi ji on 30 January 1948.
